Challenge 4 - Keeping Warm

Hello! Welcome to Challenge 4 of the Crafty Calendar Challenge. We hope you all had a great Christmas, and Happy New Year today! Here's our first challenge of 2010!

We had our biggest amount of entries yet for the 'Winter Sparkle' challenge - we're guessing that bling and sparkle is pretty popular in blogland! :)

OK, here is the randomly chosen winner of Challenge 3. The winner of the £20.00 gift voucher for Quixotic Paperie is...

Mary from 'My Scrap Happy Life'!

Congratulations Mary! Please email me (Georgia) at: gwelch96@googlemail.com and we can sort out your gift voucher!

For the fourth challenge, the theme is 'Keeping Warm'. January is such a cold, bleak month, so for this challenge, we would like to see warm colours used in your cards and projects, and if you like, images that are associated with keeping warm.
There is an optional extra of 'texture'. To show even more warmth on your creatios, you could add texture to your card/project, such as ribbon, fur, raffia, flowers, feathers, you name it!
But please remember that the optional extra is not compulsory.

This month, I (Georgia) am sponsoring the challenge. I am offering the winner of this challenge two Smirk stamps, some alphabet stickers and two ribbon coils!

Finally, our Guest Designer this month is Marianne, at Marianne's Craftroom!

Marianne, makes a range of such beautiful cards and her blog is a great inspiration for crafters! She has also been Guest Designing at Winter Wonderland Challenge, and Moving Along With The Times, so you can also pop over and view her stunning creations there!

Here are our cards for your inspiration:

You have until 8:00pm on Thursday 4th February 2010 - the winner of Tracy's prize will be announced when Challenge 5 goes live on Friday 5th February 2010.

Challenge 3 - Winter Sparkle

Hi everyone! Welcome to Challenge 3 of the Crafty Calendar Challenge!

Once again, thank you so much for all your stunning entries for the weather challenge - we were so thrilled with your response, and hopefully it was a great excuse to get your Christmas stash out! Hopefully this challenge will be too! ;)

Before I give the details of the next challenge, here is the winner of Challenge 2:

Congratulations Sally! Please contact me at: gwelch96@googlemail.com, and we can sort out your £10 gift certificate for Bunny-Zoe's Crafts!

Thanks again to Nikki for the fabulous prize!

OK, onto Challenge 3. For this month's challenge, we have picked the theme of 'Winter Sparkle'. We would like to see winter-themed cards and projects, with the added option of sparkle and bling. But please remember, as always, the added option is not compulsory.
And it doesn't have to be a Christmas card if you don't want it to be! You could simply make a winter-themed birthday card, anniversary card etc.
The choice is yours!

This month, we are thrilled to be sponsored by the lovely Carole Middlehurst, who designs for Quixotic Paperie, and is offering a £20 Quixotic Paperie gift certificate!

Carole makes a range of absolutely stunning cards, and designs for Sugar Nellie and Quixotic Paperie, so you can view her cards there, or see them on her fabulous blog, Stardust Gems & Ribbon. Carole is such an inspiration and always blows me away with her gorgeous cards and projects and fantastic colouring! Thanks so much for the fantastic prize Carole, and to Quixotic Paperie for donating the voucher!

Our guest designer this month is Debbie, from Pink Poppy Craft Box. You can view her beautiful cards by clicking on the link - thanks for agreeing to join the Design Team for a month Debbie, it's been lovely to have you onboard! :)
