Challenge 11 - Sketch & Theme


Hello everyone! Welcome to Challenge 11 of the Crafty Calendar Challenge! Thanks so much for all your fabulous entries into last month's challenge - we loved seeing all your summery cards!

Now, before I give out the details of this month's challenge, we have some big news for you.

Firstly, I (Georgia) have decided to step down from running the Crafty Calendar Challenge, as running a challenge is such a big committment and I think I underestimated just how much goes into running it, and how much time it takes up when I have my school work to do.

I really didn't want to stop the challenge completely, so thankfully, Lisa from our Design Team has very kindly offered to take over running the challenge, as I will be stepping back from the Team, thanks so much for offering to take on the challenge Lisa, and best of luck!



I'd also just like to say thank you so much to all the Design Team members of the challenge, it has been such a pleasure to work with all of you and your cards have been so fabulous!



I'm really sad to leave the challenge, but this way, at least blogging won't become a chore and I won't be so rushed to organise things for the challenge anymore.

This will be my last post while I am running the challenge, as of next month, Lisa will be taking over.




Also, we are very sad to lose Donna from the Design Team, who has been with us since the beginning, as she has decided to step down from the team to reduce her blogging committments and we can all totally understand why she is stepping down and wish her all the best in the future. Thanks so much for your fantastic cards and committment Donna, it has been lovely working with you!




On a more positive note, here are the details for this month's challenge. This month, we have a lovely sketch for you to follow, created by Laura, thanks for this gorgeous sketch Laura!





There is also an optional extra of 'All Around the World', so you could link your card to a different culture or country or way of life, the choice is yours! The possibilities are endless! Please remember that the optional extra is not compulsory though.


Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch, as long as we can still see the basic elements, be as creative as you like!

This month, we are very lucky to be sponsored by Prairie Fairy Designs, who will be offering five digi images from their store for one lucky winner! Thank you for the fabulous prize!



Finally, this month, we have two Guest Designers! Sophie and Chloe will be joining us this month, the daughters of Donna and Lisa from our Design Team!
